This web site has information on congregations that was taken out of the church newspapers dealing with their organization

and cemeteries that belong to or were closely associated with the German Baptist Brethren which later became Church of the Brethren.

This site currently DOES NOT include congregations or cemeteries of the Brethren churches or the Dunkard churches.

Sometimes a church cemetery could start out as a German Baptist Brethren [COB] and later became a Old German Baptist

Brethren, Brethren church or they could all have used the same cemetery. It can get confessing sometimes.

The word Dunkard or Dunker has been used by people to refer to any of the above branches of the Brethren churches.

This is an ongoing project. More church and cemetery information will be added as I find it.
