Larchmont Community Church (Tacoma) (1909-)
The Gospel Messenger Oct. 30, 1909 page 701Vol. 48 No. 44Tacoma - On Friday evening, Oct.8, the members here met at the home of Bro. L. A. Thomas to organize a new congregation. Elders. M. F. Wood and J. S. Secrist were here to assist us in the work. Other members were also present from Centralia and Olympia. The work here is under the care of the District Mission Board, with Eld. J. U. G. Stiverson in special charge. The organization was effected with twenty-five charter members, who were all present except one who was sick. The first officers of the new church are N. W. Garman, Clerk; A. E. Musser, treasurer; Mabel Thomas, Messenger agent; and the writer correspondent. Our name is the Tacoma church. we have a Sunday school and weekly prayer meetings. – Sarah A.
