  Upper Condorus congregation called for a committee of elders for the purpose of dividing of congregation.  May 6 elders C. A. Pfoutz, J. A. Long and D. L. Brilhart come to us and had special council, which resulted in a unanimous decision for a division; new congregation to be known as the Pleasant Hill congregation.  We elected two deacons; one was not present, so only one was installed. Cornelius Law was installed May. We had council with same elders at Black Rock; elected A. S. Baughed to ministry and David Smith and H. P. Keeny to the deacon’s office.  They were duly installed.  One was baptized May 6. – E. S. Miller, Upper Cordorus, Pa., May 9
