Union Center. – Our council was held May 15, Bro. W. P. Bosserman presiding.  Bro. Joseph Milham was appointed as secretary, Sister Beckwith, treasurer, and the writer, correspondent.  Bro. Bosserman was chosen as our presiding elder. This body is to be known as Union Center church, of Oklahoma.  Bro. Wm. Milham was chosen as agent for Gospel Messenger, and Sister Mary Milham will receive the missionary funds. Bro. I. W. Firestone and wife were received by letter. We have twenty-three charter members.  We decided to hold our next council the first Saturday in August, at the Fairview schoolhouse, three miles south of May, in Ellis County.  In the evening an election for a minister and two deacons was held Bro. Wm. Milham being called to the office of the ministry, and Brethren Joseph Milham and Andrew Eikenberry, deacons.  All were duly installed May 16, except Bro. Eikenberry and wife, whose installation will be attended to later.  In the evening at 7:39 we enjoyed a love feast service.  Bro. Bosserman officiating, assisted by Bro. I. A. Root.  The attendance at the evening service, also on Sunday morning, was good. – Josie Firestone, R. D., Box 37, Supply, Okla., May 21.
