Stillwater. – The work at his place is growing in interest. Bro. A. W. Austin came here May 8, and assisted in organizing our members into a congregation, with twenty-tow letters of membership, and several who did not have their certificates.  These will be handed in later. This congregation will now  be know as the Stillwater Church of the Brethren Bro. D. E. Cripe was chosen as elder; Bro. H. S. Garst, secretary; Bro. John Clingenpeel, treasurer, and the writer, Messenger correspondent.  This church begins with one elder, one minister in the second degree and one deacon. All told, there are twenty-six now. Our aim is to start right and keep right, by the help of God and the prayers of the brethren and sisters of the district. We have thirteen older members and nine who are young in years, to start our organization. We have a very prosperous town of 4,000, in which is one of the best colleges in the West, known as the A. and M. college. There are about 1,000 students enrolled. A brother of this congregation bought the Baptist churchhouse, where we expect to hold our services and will get possession about the first of June. We will then organize a Sunday school. We would be glad to have others located here and help us push this congregation to the front. – J. H. Cox.  Stillwater, Oka., May 12.
