Goodwell. – Saturday, Aug. 17, Bro. Samuel Edgecomb, of Eva, Okla., came to Goodwell to fill his regular appointment, and as has been decided upon before, the members met there on Saturday afternoon and organized a church.  Hereafter our little band of workers will be known as the Goodwell church.  Bro. Edgecomb was chose as our elder and other officers elected as follows: Bro. Dan Bowman, clerk; Bro. John Wyatt, treasurer; Bro. L. W. Betz, agent for the Gospel Messenger, and the writer, Messenger correspondent.  We decided to have Bro. Edgecomb represent us at district meeting.  He remained with us until Friday, preaching S unday, Tuesday and Thursday nights.  The meetings were well attended and good interest manifested. He will also continue his regular appointments, coming on Saturday before the third Sunday of each month, and remaining over Sunday. – Hattie Arnold Betz, Goodwell, Okla., Aug. 21
