June 24 it was our pleasure to entertain the Sunday-school Convention of Lansing Township. It was an all day meeting. Ten Sunday-schools were represented. The attendance was large, and a good program along the different lines of Sunday-school work was carried out. At noon we served dinner on our church lawn to about two hundred people. We feel that we have been helped by having this meeting.

On Saturday, June 26. Bro. J. H. Longanecker. of Palmyra, Pa„ and Bro. Jesse Ziegler. of Royersford, Pa., came to us, for the purpose of organizing the Lake Ridge mission into a separate congregation,

The meeting convened at 1:30 P. M., with nearly all the members present. Several we detained at home, on account of sickness, The meeting was opened by Scripture reading and prayer by Bro. Longenecker, after which Bro. Ziegler took charge of the meeting. Bro. R. A. Nedrow was chosen clerk. Twenty-three certificates of membership were presented and received. We then proceeded to elect the different Officers for the church. Bro. R. A. Nedrow was elected clerk; Bro. H. F. Campbell treasurer; Sister E. P. Nedrow. correspondent. Bro. D. T. Arnold was appointed in act as Messenger agent. It was thought wise to advance Bro. E. P. Nedrow to the eldership, lie, with his wife, was ordained to that office. This church will be under the general supervision of the Mission Hoard of Eastern Pennsylvania, with Bro. P. F, Nedrow in charge.

Our congregation will be known hereafter as the Lake Ridge church.

We were impressed with the fact that one dear brother with his wife (who is not a member of our church) drove a distance of sonic seventy miles, to be present at this meeting.

Brethren Ziegler and Longenecker remained with us over Sunday, and preached three very interesting and helpful sermons.

Our attendance at Sunday-school, last Sunday, was

about eighty. We received an offering of $2.47. Our offering to the Annual Conference collection was $10.40. We feel encouraged with the outlook here and ask your prayers in behalf of the work. Mrs. E. P. Nedrow, Ludlowville. N. Y., July 1.
