From Avery, Benton Co., Mo., Bro. R. S. Rust writes: “The little band of
brethren and sisters at this place met in council on Saturday, July 12. The
business of the meeting was to effect an organization was effected, under the
name of Spring Branch church. The choice for deacon fell upon Bro. George
Ihrig. May the Lord ever be with him that he may be faithful in his calling!
