Altoona. – The brethren and sisters who were a part of the Fredonia congregation met April 30 to complete an organization. Bro. J. S. Clark, of Parsons, Kans., and Bro. Andrew Neher, of McCune, Kans., were the elders called upon to effect the organization.  The writer was chosen church clerk, correspondent and Messenger agent; Bro. Arthur Sutcliff, treasurer; Bro. Joel Varner, F. E. Button and B. W. Longanecker, trustees; Sister Ethel Longanecker, chorister; Bro. Frank Boggs, solicitor; Bro. F. E. Button, minister; Brethren Joel Varner and Frank Boggs, deacons; Bro. J. S. Clark, of Parsons, Kans., elder in charge; Bro. W. B. Sell foreman.  A collection of $8.37 was taken up to defray expenses. – Blanche Button, R. D. Button, R. D. 2, Altoona, Kans., May 2.
