Glenside. - June 2 was a busy day for the members of the mission, In thee morning we had our usual Sunday-school period at which time Bro. J. H Morris gave a talk to the children and followed with an inspiring sermon in the afternoon we met at the home of Brother and Sister W. O. Hicks where the members, sixteen in number, were organized into a church unit. The name chosen was Glennside Church of the Brethren. A- D. Crist will serve as our elder, Eld. A. D. Bowman as clerk and Bro. W. O, Hicks as treasurer. As a means of supplying our treasury an envelope was given each member for a self-denial offering to be given once a month. Following the organization service we went to a friend's home where Brethren Crist and Morris preached to a full house. The latter also preached in the evening at the schoolhouse. June 16, we had our Sunday-school election with Bro. Ventling as superintendent. The interest and attendance are growing in our school and prayer meeting. We look forward to a prosperous year in the Lord's work—Mrs. A. D. Bowman, Macclenny.
