Chismville. – The members met at the residence of Bro. J. E. Crist, Feb. 26, to organize a church.  Bro. Henry Brubaker, of Knoxville, met with us.  We organized with forty members. The name our church is “Canie Creek.” Bro. F. H. Bradley was chosen as our elder, Bro. Alfred Keiser was treasurer, Sister Adra Bradley as clerk, and the writer as corresponding secretary.  We have three ministers and three deacons. We will meet on Saturday, April 2, for our first quarterly council. – Mattie Crist, March 10.
